Upgrading your listing offers your customers to find out more information about your business. Customers are going online to find information more often instead of using the Yellow Pages. One of the biggest benefits of upgrading your listing is that you will be able to provide a direct link from our site to yours. There are other benefits as well.

We have three types of listings available in addition to our new mobile directory that will be launched on October 1, 2011.

The three types are:

• Free Web Listing
• Standard Web Listing (with Featured option)
• Video Web Listing (with Featured option)

The Standard and Video listings may be upgraded to a Featured level. This means those listings will appear at the top of each category before the free and standard listings.

Here is what each listing type includes:

Listing Descriptions

The featured listing includes all of the same items as the regular Web or Video listing, but featured listings are shown at the top of the category list before the free and regular listings. When potential customers view a category in search of a business, they will see the featured items first.

A picture is worth 1000 words, so imagine what a video will do for your business! Add a YouTube video to your standard or featured video listing that highlights your company, staff, or product. If you don't have a company video, we can produce a professional video for you or we will teach you how to make your own using a Flip Video camera.

Submitting your link is easy - just follow these steps:

1. First, register on SherburneArea.com (It’s free!) Pick a user name and password. You will need to confirm your email address before you log in to the site.
2. Once you have confirmed your email address, log in to the site and click on “My Account” in the upper right corner of the site.
3. Choose your subscription type and create your listing by filling in your business information. Don't worry if it's not perfect - you'll be able to edit it later.
4. You'll then be directed to Paypal to make your payment.
5. Once these steps are completed, a payment notification and a copy of your listing will be sent to our Directory Staff for approval. We will do this as quickly as possible—please be patient as we are currently adding many links.
6. Once your listing is approved, you will receive confirmation by email.
7. The mobile directory submission is handled on a separate database - you'll receive instructions in an additional email.

Custom Web Design and Search Engine Optimization Packages

We also offer custom website creation if you do not have a site of your own.

A simple one-page site is $197. Multiple page sites start at $750, depending on the complexity of the site. You will need to provide your logo, photos, and text.
